Match preview

By Steve Roberts

This weekend we travel to Fort Road to take on high flying Newhaven. If the reverse fixture at Priory Lane is anything to go by this will be another excellent game. Nine man Langney took the lead against the odds only to be pegged back and eventually beaten by a late injury time winner by Newhaven talisman Lee Robinson.

Langney will be hoping to show some more grit and determination after last weeks disappointing second half display against Lingfield as we search for them vital 3 points. Third placed Newhaven have had an excellent season so far led by league leading scorer Lee Robinson. Though they are far from a one man team as Ebou Jallow & Kyle Woolven showed at Priory Lane in September.

New Year and maybe a bit of luck could mean a change in fortunes for Kenny McCreadie's men, I'm sure the Langney faithful will be hoping so.
