Wanderers Looking for Revenge

Storrington Come to Priory Lane

This Saturday we welcome Storrington FC to Priory Lane, they will be eager to play again after last weekends abandonment at Ringmer when trailing 3-0.

Prior to that they lost to Little Common in the cup, but current league form is pretty good with 2 wins,2 draws and 2 defeats for a team that sits dangerously near the relegation zone in 14th. So given Storrington's recent league form and ensuing relegation battle, Langney will need to be at their best to collect all 3 points from a potentially dangerous opponent who have already shown this by defeating us at there place back in September.

Wanderers will on the other hand be glad to be back on a better surface after last weeks mud fest at Southwick, though they did emerge as deserved winners in very difficult playing conditions.http://www.langneywanderersfc.co.uk/teams/189578/match-centre/1-2907180 Langneys excellent home form has been key to there promotion push this season and are currently only one of 13 teams (from 334) at step 6 who are still unbeaten at home in the league. So Andy Goodchild will be certainly looking to extend this record and close the gap on leaders Little Common as we enter the final quarter of league matches.
